The Acupuncture Regulatory Authority was set up to provide a single self-regulating stakeholder group open to EVERYONE to join and come together to resolve and end the fractured non consistencies in the acupuncture profession. It provides a professional support and management framework for acupuncture organisations and acupuncturists so that they can provide Safe Effective Acupuncture to their patients. It protects the public by providing a framework of safe, professional clinical practice with on-going practitioner support, welfare, training, audit and guidance.
ATCM is a member of ARA, enabling us to adhere to professional codes of practice and operate within a safe and regulated framework for acupuncture. This membership also provides access to a professional community, valuable resources, and structured training pathways for skill development. Additionally, it offers opportunities to participate in seminars, meetings, and workshops to stay updated on best practices in the field.
